We are delighted to announce that the 2011 Summer Sessions Musical event is back. Recognising the pool of musical talent based in and around Southend on Sea, The Victoria Centre is running a 6 week talent search for the next big thing....
The Competition opens 1st August and allows acts to enter a video of their performance through the Victoria Centres website.
- Step 1: Please provide your bands name, contact name, number and email address
- Step 2: Please provide the link to your video performance
- Step 3: Click Submit
On doing this you will receive a confirmation message. Once uploaded onto the competition page get over to the Victoria Summer Sessions Facebook App, where you can vote for your favourite band/ performance. The closing date for performances to be uploaded is midnight on 8th September 2011.
The top 5 acts as dictated on the Facebook page will be asked to perform on finals day on 17th September 2011 at the Victoria Centre from 12noon. Each act will be allocated 15mins to perform with 30 minutes in between.
The acts will be judged onsite and the winners will win a day in the recording studio creating their own single.
